This project was inspired by the activities that people partook during the periods of isolation/self-quarantine this year. It serves to represent some of the most popular activities, and to show the ways in which people used methods to escape from reality, to keep themselves grounded. This is something that highlights not only how I used different mediums this entire year, but also how others were able to utilize the environment and hobbies to create-- whether it was out of frustration and anxiety, or just simply wanting a distraction. What I intend to accomplish is a way to demonstrate all 5 major activities that, based on research and surveys, people most undertook to keep themselves grounded. From these activities, the goal was to create a sensory box for each activity and allow anyone to be able to experience for themselves wow and what these activities made others feel.
